West Wickham UWH started in the early 1970's and we are currently one of the longest running clubs in the UK and also the World.
At present we are the 4th best team in the country, coming 4th in the National Finals this year. This was behind the likes of Southsea, Southport and West London.

News from August 2009..
We would like to congratulate Great Britain teams that went to Slovenia for the 2009 World Championships.
Especially the 3 players from West Wickham..

Diederick Engelbrecht
In the Open Division the boys managed to beat the Turkish 3-2 in the 3rd and 4th place play-off, whilst in the Ladies Division the girls managed to beat South Africa 7-2 in the final to become World Champions..

News from September 2009..
We would like to congratulate the players that went to the 20th Argonauta tournament in Breda, Holland. They went there in division 2 with only one thing on the mind, TO WIN.
They beat all the teams in the league bar one, a French team called Hope where we lost 3-1. We very qucikly had to get things sorted as we then had to play them in the final. West Wickham pulled out all the stops to win the game 5-2.

West Wickham Underwater Hockey Club went to The Bombay Resturant in Green Street Green for this years Player Of The Year. It was arranged by our 2008 Player Of The Year Mark Brooks.

This December we are going to try something different in our last training session before Christmas. On Thursday 17th December we are going to attempt to hold potentially the biggest and largest game of Underwater Hockey. We are going to attempt to play a 50 metre game petentailly 11-a-side with subs..

News from November 2009..
This year we competed in the top league of the 2009/10 Nautilus finishing in a miserable 5th place. This was a result of an all round poor day for the guys that played. New formation and new players.
We now are in a good postition that we can only get better and hopefully come the competitions later in the season we can put in a better performance and really try to get in the top 3.
